Located on 80 acres of land, Monte Vista Village Resort is a beautiful desert resort in Arizona. Courtesy patrol is on duty 24 hours a day; one host is always at the gate and one is always driving around the resort. Not far from the Superstition Mountains… but while you are in Mesa you are within minutes of endless restaurants, pubs, coffee cafes, flea markets, entertainment, shopping malls, Casino Arizona, Mesa Arts Center, and easy access to I-60 for quick trip to Phoenix’s attractions such as Game Show Battle Rooms and the Musical Instruments Museum in Tempe… too many to list!
In Mesa, there are a few resorts to choose from, but you are looking at the Monte Vista RV Resort. It’s a 24/7 gated community. You must follow the speed limits in the community. “One of you guests” has to be 55 to reserve. There is a 3-night minimum stay and a 90-night maximum stay on all reservations. Inside the resort, each guest is required to have a badge on at all times. Take the badges with you when you leave the premise to re-enter.
This Karamia Haven features a comfortable 2-bed, 2-bath house that can accommodate up to 4 guests. You will be occupying the entire 984 square feet house on rent. This is a No-Shoe zone! Bring your house shoes/slippers.
The kitchen is well furnished for cooking. Cast iron pan, portable hand-mixer, blender, Crockpot—there are no AirFry and the InstaPot! A complimentary coffee/tea station is provided for you to enjoy with unlimited coffee and teas.
Our living room is a place where you find ample seating for conversations, watching soaps or game shows, or watching a good movie with a bowl of popcorn.
Sleep like royalty in the primary suite, where luxury meets tranquility. Within the bedroom, there is a walk-in closet, solo sink with wet closet and walk-in shower with shampoo, conditioner and shower gel/soap, where you don’t have to step out of the room.
Guest bedroom with a desk and computer for checking email or writing a journal. There is an USB charger in the desk. There are a variety of reasons why we have an extra bed. Your sibling, grandchild, or friend may want to have their own privacy or your sleeping partner is snoring and you won't have a sleepless night!
What's new in 2025?
A book exchange, also known as a book swap! It is an event where people can share and exchange books. Book exchanges can be a fun way to discover new books and meet other book lovers.
Our main bath is the perfect place to relax & pretend you're in a “fancy” spa with shampoo, and conditioner. Bring your own bubble bath or bath bombs!
Our carport is limited to 1 vehicle, additional vehicles are to be parked in designated parking areas only. Parking on the street is NOT allowed after dark. The other half is a patio with a table and 4 chairs along with a cart for BBQ grill, that is on site.
Within the resort there is entertainment galore, with a full game room, ballroom, pool room, pickle ball courts, tennis courts, softball court, and well-equipped gym. You will find a few bulletin boards throughout the community showing daily events, weekly and monthly updates you don’t want to miss.
The best part is when you’re out there for a walk, riding 3-wheel bikes and getting hellos from your community neighbors. You have a choice to choose 4 different swimming pools, and/or soak away your cares in the hot tub.
Crucial advice:
Quiet hours after 9pm. Be courteous of neighbors.
No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed. We do not allow “showroom” visits.
We have a strict no-pets policy at our home.
Bring house shoes or slippers. It’s important that you remove shoes before entering the house.

Absolutely loved our stay, this property located in gated community. Very quiet and safe. Home was perfect for our needs during our stay. The property was clean, very comfortable and well stocked with quality amenities, owners have everything you might need on site. Was able to spend a day at the pool which was FANTASTIC! We both are Colorado natives and have enjoyed the Rocky Mountains with our families for more than 43 years. We raised our 3 children camping, hiking, fishing and enjoying the surrounding mountains as a family since they were babies.
We’ve traveled to Arizona occasionally where Chuck’s parents were snowbirds in Mesa, Arizona for 20+ years. We love how different the sceneries are to Colorado (hot and dry with saguaros). We fell in love with the Monte Vista resort and the villagers in the community were super friendly. The time has come that both his parents passed, we decided to “adopt” their house.
We hope that as you explore the area, you will find it as magical as we do. THIS IS OUR FAMILY VACATION HOME! We ask you that you treat our home and the areas you explore with respect they deserve. Tread lightly and leave no trace. We are thrilled to share our home with you and hope to welcome you back soon!
This cozy house was originally built in 2000 and was lovingly remodeled by us. It is just steps away from activities in the 80+ acres of resort (you can get around by walking, ride bikes, golf cart). It has 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, kitchen, dining and living room (open space!).
You can see the Superstition Mountains from our house! To take a drive, it’s 14 miles away. There is a lake nearby that you can go for a picnic if you like to hike and see many different saguaros, cactus, also, if you’re at the right time, you’ll see beautiful flowers.
Enjoy this relaxing getaway within walking distance of spectacular hikes, shops, museums, or just relax on our patio, reading a favorite book and watch unbelievable sunsets. This house has a private main-floor bedroom with a king size bed as well as a guest room.
